Straddling the Adriatic coast and the foothills of the Gran Sasso, in a panoramic position that takes in both sea and mountain, Agriturismo Terralieta is a family-run farm that welcomes guests in fourteen themed apartments created from carefully restored rural farmhouses. Original terracotta floors and exposed wooden beams preserve the authenticity of Abruzzo’s architectural heritage, while furnishings and services provide the comfort of a modern accommodation facility.
The fourteen apartments — each with a name and theme inspired by local rural tradition — are spread across a 70-hectare estate of olive groves, vineyards and fields cultivated using sustainable farming methods. The estate produces and sells its own DOP extra-virgin olive oil and a selection of typical Teramo produce, which guests can purchase directly on-site.
The outdoor spaces include equipped gardens with tables and chairs, a barbecue area and a children’s play area set in the greenery. Although there is no on-site restaurant, Terralieta has agreements with local trattorias so guests can enjoy traditional Abruzzo cuisine just a few kilometres away.
